Just as Doms and I are celebrating because he got his S Pass already, my Dad called me up and told me a very very sad news. My lola in my mom’s side had a stroke and she is now in the ICU of the Philippine Heart Center. We call her Nanay. I cried when I learned that she is still unconscious until now and it brakes my heart knowing that anytime, she can go and meet Tatay already.

Nanay usually spends weeks in our house in Fairview. She admitted that my mom is her favorite anak among all her anaks. One time when we were eating, she asked me when Doms and I will get married. I answered her that we are planning to get married in 2010. She was insisting that we marry immediately so that she can be there in the wedding. She even told me that she will be the one to pay for our wedding reception.

Dear Lord, please help Nanay overcome this one. Please refrain her from any pain and any hardship. I know you are a powerful God and you can gratn her this. Please let her feel no pain because she has a lot of that before. If it is your will that she leaves us, please give her a happy death. This I ask in your holy name, Amen.
