Smell Good Yah?

My 2012 is geared towards being healthy, losing weight, being physically fit and having a good and healthy life. In line with this, I will also try to de-stress my life, start making myself feel good, making myself up and making sure that I smell good.

So, I bought 2 new fragrances that will surely make my 2012 really smell good.

Lanvin Eclat 50ml (36SGD) and Lancome Tresor 100ml (110SGD)

Among these two fragrances, I like the smell of Lanvin Eclat more. Good thing Efren made me buy it during our company Christmas Bazaar because I love it so much. It has a powdery smell that makes me feel refreshed and fragrant.

I’m not into heavy perfumes but I want a smell that lasts long. I usually just wear Johnson’s Baby Cologne or Victoria’s Secret Body Mist but they always wear out at the end of the day.

So, making sure that I smell good entails buying EDPs or Eau De Parfum  instead of just colognes.

Lancome’s Tresor In Love smells much more sophisticated and classy. It smells so girly and I like it so much I even joked the sales lady about the package and freebies.

Anyway, I never leave without any of these perfumes with me. You’ll never know you’ll need it. Once I’m finished with these bottles I try other perfumes in the market that I like.

Thinking of What to Collect

I’m not really a fan of collecting stuff. I have an erratic mind. I switch from one interest to another with just a flick of a finger. That’s why I don’t invest so much on stuff that I initially wanted to collect because I know later on, that I will be losing interest in that “stuff”.

But one thing caught my attention. Here’s the story.

Right before the wedding, Doms and I were searching for the perfume that will we will be using for the weding day. Doms chose Chinique Happy because he was familiar with its scent and he loves it.

On the other hand, it took me about an hour to decide on what perfume I will buy. Until I found this:

Harajuku Lovers is a fragrance line created by Gwen Stefani. Each scent is bottled into a a very cute bottle like the picture above. Lil’ Angel or Gothic Lolita caught my eye and my nose.The rest of the perfumes looked all the same cute which gave me another reason to choose the scent longer. Becuase aside from the smell, I am now considering the bottle design.

The Lil’ Angel scent has a sparkling floral scent that I love. It’s not to heavy or not too light for me. When this perfume gets consumed, I will be trying the scents from the Harajuku Lovers line.It’s like collecting something usefule because I can use the perfume first and at the same time, collect the other cute bottles.
