Temple Run iPhone and iPad App
Temple run is the new game that we are so addicted to play now. I find myself playing this game even when I’m standing in the train on my way to work.
Temple Run is created by Imangi Studios. The whole concept of the game is to run a maze in a temples collecting coins and avoiding the cliffs and pot holes along the way. It’s a free iPhone and iPad App that’s worth trying! I can’t help but shout at times when I fall off or if I jumped wrongly.
I like this game!
My Daily Morning Walk in Leme Leme
Ever since I decided to take a serious action about my weight, read: I’M GETTING FAT, I made sure that I walk going to the train station every morning. Well, it’s not a great distance from our place to the station, around 7 to 10 minutes walk, but at least I get my daily dose of exercise.
So, while walking this morning, I took pictures of the areas that I pass by. All photos taken using Leme Leme for iPhone app.
After crossing the stop light, I will see this tree going to the walk way.
Then I will see the rows of houses in Admiralty Link.
Just following the walk way, I will see the train station already.
The walk way forks in ways and I usually use this path to avoid the birds.
Then, I need to cross another stop light and my destination completes.

It’s really fun walking going to the train station. It’s not that sunny and a lot of people are doing it.
Instagram Lover
Instagram is one of my fave apps on my iPhone. Not only because it has cute filters but also because you can share and tag your photos to a stream of other users.
Instagram also has different groups assembled, usually by locations like IgersManila, where people can join and share their photos. They have themes or topics so users can have ideas on what to capture on their phones.
The largest group that I’ve joined so far is IgersManila.
IgersManila has a daily theme that users can use and tag their photos in every 9pm called #9pmhabit
Here are some of my photos that got “likes” from other users:
Instagram is a very good diversion since it allows me think of creative subjects to take. I really hope that one day, one of my photos will make it to the “POP” or popular page. I think my highest number of likes will be 35 and no more than that. I think I just need to practice more and think harder for creative subjects.
How to Join IgersManila?
- Download Instagram in your iPhone, IPad or IPod. It’s a free app so you don’t need to worry about the price.
- Search for @IGersManila then click FOLLOW. Look for @dindinstars and follow me too!
- Once you follow IGersManila, you will see a message in your stream everyday about the theme for tonights #9pmhabit.
- When 9 pm comes, upload at most 3 photos of your entry and tag it with #9pmhabit, #igersmanila, and the tag for the theme e.g. #meandmygadgets etc.
- That’s it! Your photo can now be seen by everyone and can be liked as well.

Smurf Village Addiction
I’m really a fan of the social games from the iTunes Store. My latest addiction is Smurf Village.
The whole concept of this game is to help the Smurfs rebuild their village after the villain Gargamel scatters them across the forest. Who wouldn’t stop and admire the cuteness of the Smurfs?
Aside from having cute characters and a nice setting, not to mention the chirping birds background, Smurf Village offers users the a combination of all the other social games available.
It has mini games for the users and you can grow crops for money and to increase your level.
I’m just starting up with this game so my village looks empty.
I’d love to continue this game and hopefully I can have the patience to do so. Progress in this game is kinda slow, which is one of its flaws. But other than that, Smurf Village offers a wide range of entertainment and fun.
