Lunch at Mary Grace, Trinoma

I never liked eating alone. Be it at home or dining out, I hate it! But there are times that stomach pangs matter more than anything else. So, after getting my OEC from DFA Trinoma, I headed for Mary Grace.

To my surprise, I wasn’t the only person there dining alone.

The waiter who fixed my table recommended their Classic Carbonarra and Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea.

I loved my meal! The carbonarra tasted creamy and I loved the iced tea!

Next time, I hope I can be with my family when I eat here.

Pinas, Here We Come

I scheduled our flight back to Manila to prepare for my delivery to September 8, 2012. I used up all my annual leaves from work first and the start of my maternity leave will be on the 24th of September.

Doms and I opted to use Philippine Airlines since Singapore Airlines was so expensive. I was not allowed to travel using Cebu Pacific and Jetstar because I am currently 33 weeks preggy. There are certain airline regulations for pregnant women.

Anyway, before our flight, Doms tried his luck with this betting game but he didn’t win anything.

The 3 and half hour flight was a breeze! The food was great! Our seats were comfy too. Doms wanted to trade my seat to the “Ang Mho” who was seated in the aisle so that it will be easy for me to go to the toilet. But the dude upgraded so it was nice and we had the whole row to ourselves.

My Dad was the one who got us from the airport. We passed by Jollibee for take-away breakfast then went home. We did a lot of activities in the short time Doms was here in Manila.

For his last day before flying back to Singapore, we ate dinner at Blackbeard Seafood Island, Trinoma. This was our food.

It was kind of a ri-off for me. My total bill was 2,100 PHP and the food was just simple. We should have just ate in Mann Hann.

Anyway, I wasn’t able to take a lot pf photos.

Celebrating Mother’s Day at Chili’s RWS

Doms and I love to celebrate the tiniest event or milestone in our lives. Naturally, we were bound to do something during Mother’s Day.

We were thinking of eating somewhere in VivoCity because I wanted to check the “baby” stores there. Our first choice was Carnivore All-Meat Buffet. The food was enticing but we didn’t like that much for that night and the price per person was so steep.

So, we decided to eat at Chili’s in Resorts World Sentosa.

Our appetizer of Fried Cheese (10SGD) came in first .It was so good! Then my Ribs and Chicken Rack (35 SGD) came in. This meal was good for sharing but Doms still ordered separately. He ordered Western something burger (23 SGD). It wsa so huge with large strips of bacon and fries. I didn’t try the burger because it looked so filling but sure ate the fries!

Doms didn’t have the problem of finishing his food. He has issues with wasted food.

After our great dinner, we went back to VivoCity to do some baby stuff window shopping. Yup! That’s our new hobby now! Then, we ate dessert at Awfully Chocolate. Now I know the reason why I got a migraine that night!

Anyway, it was a fun-filled night spent bonding with Doms. It was also a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day!

CNY Dinner @ Seafood People

We really love Seafood People! So, for our Chinese New Year Dinner, we decided to eat there. Good thing the location of this great eating place is just a walking distance away from us.

We ordered our favorite Prawn Paste Chicken, Seafood Fried Rice and Seafood Hor Fun.

20120127-094814.jpgAs always, serving the food will take about a 30-minute wait. But it was all worth it! We loved our CNY dinner and we will definitely go back here again.

Our Square Buns waited for us for our dessert.

I can’t remember how many CNY’s Doms and I celebrated here in SG. All I know is that I enjoy CNY here and I’m we’ll experience more in the future.
