Daddy Pork’s Day

Happy Father’s Day Daddy Pork! We Love you!

Last Sunday, we celebrated Father’s Day starting off with a mass at St. Bernadette Church. At the end of the mass, all the fathers were asked to stand up for a special blessing. Naturally, Daddy Pork stood up and got the blessing. I was praying for him when the priest was blessing them. I wanted him to have good health, becasue he will be the one to take care of us. I also prayed that he will get all that he wishes! Doms is a great husband and I’m sure he will be a great Daddy Pork too!

After the mass, we went to Gerry’s Grill Singapore to eat lunch. It was a great lunch! We ordered Pinakbet, Inihaw na Liempo and Sinigang. Our total bill was just 34 SGD so we were happy that we didn’t spend too much.

Then, we went to Plaza Singpura because Daddy Pork wanted to buy shoes. There was a sale at the Ever Best store and he bought 2 new leather and porma shoes for 99 SGD. Good deal!

I asked Daddy pork if we can look for the Eskimo Pearl Milk Tea store and we did find it. I ordered the Hazelnut Milk tea. Dream come true!

Afternoon came and we just stayed at home. Daddy Pork made this ham and cheese sandwich that we loved! It was a simple merienda but we loved it so much becasue Daddy Pork made it.

Next year, Father’s Day will be extra special because Baby Pork will be with us as we celebrate it. I’m excited!

Celebrating Mother’s Day at Chili’s RWS

Doms and I love to celebrate the tiniest event or milestone in our lives. Naturally, we were bound to do something during Mother’s Day.

We were thinking of eating somewhere in VivoCity because I wanted to check the “baby” stores there. Our first choice was Carnivore All-Meat Buffet. The food was enticing but we didn’t like that much for that night and the price per person was so steep.

So, we decided to eat at Chili’s in Resorts World Sentosa.

Our appetizer of Fried Cheese (10SGD) came in first .It was so good! Then my Ribs and Chicken Rack (35 SGD) came in. This meal was good for sharing but Doms still ordered separately. He ordered Western something burger (23 SGD). It wsa so huge with large strips of bacon and fries. I didn’t try the burger because it looked so filling but sure ate the fries!

Doms didn’t have the problem of finishing his food. He has issues with wasted food.

After our great dinner, we went back to VivoCity to do some baby stuff window shopping. Yup! That’s our new hobby now! Then, we ate dessert at Awfully Chocolate. Now I know the reason why I got a migraine that night!

Anyway, it was a fun-filled night spent bonding with Doms. It was also a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day!

Kuishinbo Anniversary Dinner

For our first wedding anniversary, we decided in a heart beat, to try Kuishinbo Japanese Buffet in Great World City. It was actually our first time to try this restaurant. I remember my colleagues recommending this Japanese buffet and I’m glad we did try it!

Upon entering the restaurant, I was already so overwhelmed with the food that I saw. The Chocolate Fondue fountain was so inviting that I stood in front of it just wondering what it feels like to swim in chocolate, (huh?!).

We didn’t get to take a photo of the food because we were very busy planning on what to eat first. We were given a complimentary plate of grilled lobster with melted cheese and it was heavenly!

There was a section for cooked food that serves beef teriyaki and the roasted beef. There were mounts of tempura and soft shell crab! There was also an open-air grilling station that serves grilled corn and the tastiest lamb chop that I ever tasted!
