I Refuse to Wear Maternity Dresses!

Up until now, the only maternity range that I bought for my pregnancy are:

  • Maternity Jeans
  • Maternity Jeggings
  • 3 Tights (dahil sale sa H&M)
  • and 4 Maternity Tops

The rest of the clothes that I wear to work are my existing clothes.

New Look Summer Dress

It’s not like I don’t like maternity dresses. I think they are comfy and airy. But I still prefer wearing jeans. So, my favorite clothing right now are my pair of maternity jeans.

I bought them in the Philippines last time we were there. I can pair it up with any shirt, or top or blouse from my closet and still look nice. I still looks pregnant though.

Daddy Pork’s Day

Happy Father’s Day Daddy Pork! We Love you!

Last Sunday, we celebrated Father’s Day starting off with a mass at St. Bernadette Church. At the end of the mass, all the fathers were asked to stand up for a special blessing. Naturally, Daddy Pork stood up and got the blessing. I was praying for him when the priest was blessing them. I wanted him to have good health, becasue he will be the one to take care of us. I also prayed that he will get all that he wishes! Doms is a great husband and I’m sure he will be a great Daddy Pork too!

After the mass, we went to Gerry’s Grill Singapore to eat lunch. It was a great lunch! We ordered Pinakbet, Inihaw na Liempo and Sinigang. Our total bill was just 34 SGD so we were happy that we didn’t spend too much.

Then, we went to Plaza Singpura because Daddy Pork wanted to buy shoes. There was a sale at the Ever Best store and he bought 2 new leather and porma shoes for 99 SGD. Good deal!

I asked Daddy pork if we can look for the Eskimo Pearl Milk Tea store and we did find it. I ordered the Hazelnut Milk tea. Dream come true!

Afternoon came and we just stayed at home. Daddy Pork made this ham and cheese sandwich that we loved! It was a simple merienda but we loved it so much becasue Daddy Pork made it.

Next year, Father’s Day will be extra special because Baby Pork will be with us as we celebrate it. I’m excited!

What To Expect…

My colleague, Clarrie approached me the other day and handed me a copy of the book “What to Expect: The First Year”. Her words were “I hope this can be helpful”.

I was deeply touched. Aside from my close friends and family, someone from outside my circle recognized and accepted my pregnancy.

It was a hand-me down book but it means a lot to me. I haven’t started reading the book yet but I romise myself that instead spending time on my iPad before sleeping, I’ll just read the first few pages of the book.

Reminder:
Get a highlighter. You’ll never know! I might read up on something important in this book.

Excited Na Eh

Doms and I traveled all the way to Singapore Expo to attend the Motherhood Fair. My initial goal was to buy the Charlie Banana Cloth Diapers because there was a bargain deal of 19SGD per piece instead of 35.

So, we went straight to the Charlie Banana stand and bought 2 cloth diapers. I found out while paying that a free Agoo Bamboo Leg Warmers was included, nice!

The seller of the cloth diapers also sold packages and deals for Tommee Tippee, my dream infant bottle set! It was actually a great deal. The set below costs 169 SGD which includes the following:

  1. (1) Tommee Tippee Electric Steam Sterilizer
  2. (1) Tommee Tippee Electric bottle warmer
  3. (1) Tommee Tippee Thermal Bag
  4. (1 Box) Tommee Tippee Disposable Breast Pads
  5. (3 pcs.) Tommee Tippee 9oz BPA Free Bottles with  0Mos+ Teats
  6. (1) Tommee Tippee 0Mos+ Pacifier

There was another promo in line with the above leg warmers.

“Spend 180SGD worth of Tommee Tippee Items and get (1) Charlie Banana Cloth Diaper”.

So naturally, Doms said we need to reach the 180SGD mark. So, we added the following to our stash:

  1. (1) Tommee Tippee BPA Free Anti-Colic 9oz Feeding Bottle with 3-6Mos Teat
  2. (1) Tommee Tippee 3-6 Mos Pacifier

We love what we bought! And we were so excited to open everything up! I love this feeling because it’s like Doms and I were happy that we bought these stuff for Baby Pork. Signs of maturing people! Haha! Anyway, we are just building up our stash of baby stuff and I’m sure I’ll have more posts like this in my blog.
