The Next Book to Buy

I was browsing the Popular Bookstore Online store and I came across this book from one of my favourite authors, Cecilia Ahern.

It is titled “The Book of Tomorrow” and I was intrigued by the title. So, I searched for it online and read the short summary about the book. I kinda loved the plot. It started with a typical story of a high-maintenance girl then dad died and she had to live with poor uncle and auntie because they need to sell everything they becasue of the debts her dad left them. What made me interested in this books was the lines:

When a travelling library passes through Kilsaney Demesne, Tamara is intrigued. She needs a distraction. Her eyes rest on a mysterious large leather bound tome locked with a gold clasp and padlock. With some help, Tamara finally manages to open the book. What she discovers within the pages takes her breath away and shakes her world to its core..

So what did the girl read in the book? What words can make a girl “shocked to the bones”?

I hope I can purchase this book later or tomorrow. So i can bring this book in our KL trip so I can have something to read during the 4 and a half coach bus ride :)

Loving My Denim Jacket

Hahaha, I bought this jacket last week in Bugis Junction. My cousin Clarisse was here so Doms and I toured her around the Bugis area and the Bugis Street Market. When I saw this jacket, I knew right away that this was the jacket that I was searching for the longets time.

It goes with all my shirt and jeans. When I woke up this morning, I didn’t feel like wearing slacks so I got one of my most comfortable dresses and got my denim jacket to top it over. Loove it!

Why I Am Indignant About All These

Well, it’s not that I don’t care. Don’t get me wrong, but I am very nationalistic and I love the Philippines.  It’s just that I don’t like what is happening. I am not 100% sold with yellow and I particularly don’t like the “dude” from Makati.

Oh no, a lot of people might hate for the statement above but please don’t get me wrong, really.

I like yellow’s vision for the country. I like his means and I really believe that he can make a change. What I don’t like about him is his sister. Really. The only thing that made me NOT vote for yellow is his sister. But, I think it’s not totally the sister’s fault. She’s a public personality and media makes her life as if everything depends on it. Oh well, yun ang bumebenta sa masa, so the media plasters it all over. Feeling nila, everybody likes it. Dun sila mali. Not everybody wants to know her story and not all wants to see her tears flow in talk shows.

OK, right now I am NR (No Reaction) about anything happening to the Philippine politics. For me, if yellow says he can make a change, I admire him. Let’s wait and see.

I really hope that the Philippines gets the stable footing everybody is waiting for. I am praying and wishing that this inaguration will not only be a start of a new president but also a start of a new Philippines. Whoever is the president, as long as the people are willing to change the current state, everything will fall into place.

Planning Our KL Trip, My Style

Hahaha, as if my style is soo efficient.

Well, I am the type of person who is very visual. So, most of the things that I do, I want to see with my own eyes the progress that I did. For example, in work, I always have a checklist that I write in the morning. As I progress through the day, I check the stuff that I’ve done. I feel pleased when I see that I’ve checked my target goals for the day.

In planning travels, I always write important information about the travel in a sheet of paper as my reference. I call this piece of paper my “tickler” file. I also schedule the activities of the travel and as much as possible, map out our way to our intended places to visit.

Now that our KL trip is fast approaching, I am sharing to everyone my KL tickler file:

KL, Here We Go!

I am very excited already!

Doms and I will be spending the coming weekend in KL! Of course aside from the fact that we both wanted to go to KL and explore the city, it is also my birthday on the 4th of July. So, it’s also my birthday celebration cum vacation.

We already have our itinerary and I’m excited because one of the goals of our KL trip is to have a DIY mini-prenup pictorial.
