Drake’s 6th Month

Daddy, Mommy and Drakey! Happy 6th Month Drake!

Daddy, Mommy and Drakey! Happy 6th Month Drake!

Dear Drake Anthony,

Happy 6th Month baby boy! Time flies so fast! You are a big boy now and we are so happy that you can interact with us and the people around you.

You have two small teeth now and you started with your solids already. I hope that in the coming month, you can sit on your own. So you will have more flexibility to discover new things.

Drake, in two weeks time you will be far away from us again. Don’t worry, Mommy is much stronger now. It’s just a short time and you will be here with us again. Always be a good boy while Mommy and Daddy are away.

Daddy and Mommy loves you so much!

Always stay a happy baby!

Love,

Mommy and Daddy

Movie: Rise of the Guardians, Wreck It Ralph and Hotel Transylvania

I’ve been so into animated films lately. I like animated films because it’s light and not heavy on the heart. I feel good after watching animated films because aside from the colorful way of portraying the characters, they have a lesson to impart and they’re funny.

Here are the recent animated films that I watched and enjoyed recently:

Rise of the Guardians

I was in doubt about this movie. I was not familiar with this movie and I didn’t watch the trailer of this movie. Turned out to be a great movie about Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Sand Man and Jack Frost.

If I were to let Drake watch a movie, this will be the first movie that I will let him watch. Because I want Drake to have a great childhood so I want to instill in his mind the above mentioned characters so that his childhood will be colorful and full of life and imagination.

I like the way the characters were shown. Santa being a tough guy with tattoos, the tooth fairy being so obsessed with tooth and the Easter Bunny as a jockey Australian.

Hotel Transylvania

This movie was so funny I kept laughing at different parts of the movie. I didn’t like the part when they were in the horror carnival because the cape thingy was not that funny.

Wreck It Ralph

This movie was something I didn’t expect to be nice. The story of the little “glitch” being the Princess at the end was very unexpected. I like the story and the characters too.

Drake and Solids

When Drake turned 5 months, I immediately fed him solid food so that he will get used to it already. Not solid as in solid food but pureed food. I searched online on different ways on how to prepare baby’s food. The other night, I bought butternut squash, sweet potato and papaya for Drake. Here’s a quick reference on what I did to prepare his food:

He loved eating the sweet potato and butternut squash! I enjoyed both recipes too!

SNS Cheers 2013

I really love company activities. Aside from the free food, we get to meet and interact with other members of our division. Cheers celebration is what our company calls gatherings of the different divisions of our company.

A while ago, we had games and food. We won in all the games that we joined. Here are some photos of the event. These photos were taken by the Cheers organizer, Lay Kheng.

Nice concept of raffle draw. Each heart corresponds to a name

These were my team mates during the games. I was the only girl.
